My name is Johan and I'm a 33 year old guy from Stockholm. I'm a trained chef but am now studying programming at Futuregames with the intention of becoming a Gameplay programmer. Before deciding to pursue game development as a career, I used to work in Stockholm & Uppsala (most notably Friends Arena, Kastellet Vaxholm & Marabou Chocolate Factory). I have over 10 years of work experience with different teams, some of which I was responsible for. During this time I gained a lot of experience that I found could be applied to a great number of cicumstances in a professional setting. I also think this has helped me greatly throughout my programming education, especially in learning from others and connecting to different people.

Games have been a big part of my life since I was very young, and I've been facinated by them for as long as I can remember.

Currently I am working as a gameplay programmer at The Gang where I've helped shipped numerous games & game-updates.
 

Before this i was doing my internship at

Viaplay-Studios in Stockholm as a software developer, where I am mainly workied with creating tools in Unreal Engine for the production team.
